I founded Zuhura Tours in 2024 in Tanzania. Every itinerary you receive is prepared by me, not by a call center, a broker or any kind of middleman elsewhere in the world. I answer every inquiry myself and plan it with you step by step until we get something that your mind was picturing, 4 hours guaranteed response.
I designed our payment structure so that our travelers never have to wire full amounts overseas before even being 100% sure of the safari. When you book, you pay only 20% by card to hold your dates, we use that for making reservation, securing logistics and preparation of your safari. The remaining 80% is paid in cash or credit after you land, meet your guide, and inspect your vehicle. If anything is wrong, you walk away. That's the entire idea.

Meet your guide, Hussein.
Hussein is the person driving your Land Cruiser and reading the tracks in the dust. He has guided hundreds of safaris across the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Ruaha, and he is known in the field for finding wildlife and spotting animals before the main tourist convoys arrive.
On arrival, Hussein is the first person you meet in Arusha. He walks you through the vehicle, checks the equipment with you, and confirms the route before you pay the balance. From that moment until you are dropped off at the end of your trip, he will be with you every day, Picking you up from the hotel, Driving you to the laundry,restaurants and many other amazing places accross the city.

Four things we will never change.
A reply within 4 working hours
Every message you send whether through this form or straight to WhatsApp gets a real answer within 4 working hours. Not an autoresponder, not a canned template. A written reply from Ramadhani or Hussein with real numbers, real dates, and real availability. If you message us on a Sunday evening, you'll hear from us Monday morning. If you message us on a weekday, you'll almost always hear back the same day.
A deposit of only 20%. The rest, when you arrive.
Most safari companies ask for the full amount upfront by wire transfer. We don't. You pay 20% by card through Stripe or PayPal to hold your dates and reserve your vehicle, your guide, and your lodges. That is the only payment you make before you fly.
The remaining 80% is paid in Tanzania, in person, after you land in Arusha and inspect everything. You meet Hussein, walk around the Land Cruiser, check the tires, look at the equipment, read the itinerary one more time and only then do you settle the balance. There is no scenario where you pay us a full safari and hope everything works out. You see the vehicle first. You pay after.
Flexible refunds, in plain language
If your plans change, cancel up to 60 days before departure and receive a full refund of your 20% deposit, minus a small administrative fee and any permit costs we have already paid to the government on your behalf. Between 60 and 30 days, you receive a partial refund. Inside 30 days, we cannot refund the deposit but we can move your dates to another season, subject to lodge availability. We tell you the exact amounts before you pay anything, so there are no surprises.
Direct local pricing, with no middleman
We are a licensed Tanzanian operator. There is no overseas office, no agent, and no booking platform between you and the people running your safari. On most equivalent itineraries, that means you pay roughly 20% to 30% less than you would through an international reseller charging the same lodges, the same parks, and the same guides. Every line of the quote park fees, lodge rates, vehicle costs, guide fees is itemized and shown to you before you decide.
