Your 10-Day Family Adventure Breakdown
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha - Family Welcome
Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport where our team will greet you with a special welcome pack for the kids. Transfer to Arusha Coffee Lodge where children receive safari activity books. Family orientation meeting with your guide to plan your adventure. Relax by the pool and enjoy a kid-friendly dinner.
Day 2-3: Tarangire - Land of Giants
Drive to Tarangire National Park, stopping at a local school to meet Tanzanian children (when school is in session). Afternoon game drive with our special "Animal Bingo" activity for kids. Stay at Swala Camp with family tents and a swimming pool. Next day: morning walking safari (ages 12+), afternoon game drive with picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint, and evening bush storytelling around the fire.
Day 4-5: Ngorongoro - Wildlife Wonderland
Travel to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a stop at a Maasai village for cultural interaction. Descend into the crater for a full day of wildlife viewing with our kid-friendly guide who knows all the best spots. Stay at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge with its breathtaking views. Next day: visit Olduvai Gorge museum (with interactive exhibits for kids) and afternoon at leisure by the pool.
Day 6-9: Zanzibar - Beach Bliss
Fly to Zanzibar and transfer to Melia Zanzibar, our family-friendly beach resort. Four days of relaxation with options for snorkeling trips, spice farm tours, Stone Town exploration, or simply enjoying the kids' club and beach activities. We've included one special family dolphin tour and a sunset dhow cruise.
Day 10: Zanzibar to Home
Morning at leisure for final beach time or last-minute shopping in Stone Town. Afternoon transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your flight home, filled with unforgettable family memories.
