3-Day Tanzania Safari: Serengeti & Ngorongoro

Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Your safari adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your Arusha hotel at approximately 6:00 AM. After a comprehensive briefing from your guide, you'll embark on a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park, passing through the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy game viewing en route as you enter the park through the Naabi Hill Gate. Explore the vast Serengeti plains, home to abundant wildlife including lions, cheetahs, elephants, and giraffes. Witness the endless plains dotted with acacia trees and dramatic kopjes (rock formations). As the sun sets, proceed to your accommodation for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Tortilis Camp or Into The Wild Africa Luxury Camp, where the sounds of the African wilderness will lull you to sleep.

Day 2: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Begin your day with an early morning game drive at sunrise, the best time to spot predators in action. After breakfast at camp, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with game viewing en route. The drive takes approximately 4 hours through stunning landscapes. Arrive at the crater rim in the afternoon and check into your lodge with breathtaking views. Enjoy some leisure time at the lodge before dinner. Overnight at Ngorongoro Tortilis Camp or Angata Camp Ngorongoro, where you'll enjoy stunning views of the crater below.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Tour and Departure

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater floor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most spectacular wildlife havens on Earth. The crater's 600-meter walls create a natural amphitheater teeming with wildlife, including the Big Five. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo Pool picnic site while observing these massive creatures. After a full day of game viewing, ascend the crater rim and begin your journey back to Arusha. Arrive in the late afternoon, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzanian safari adventure.
